Clyde Tombaugh and His Telescope

Work in progress. (February 4, 1906 – January 17, 1997) Clyde Tombaugh was an American astronomer best known for discovering Pluto. This portrait is inspired by a 1928 photograph of Clyde at his family’s farm with his homemade telescope.
